Demca Actuation Solutions (DAS has undertaken projects that include retrofitting actuators into existing valves including that of Chevron, Engen, PetroSA, BP, Koeberg Nuclear Power Station project.

It brings its specialities to INDUTEC 2017 including its range of actuators; electric multi-turn, quarter turn, linear, and failsafe, and bevel gearboxes for multi-turn applications.

Products to be displayed include:

  • The AVA, AVAT and AVAR range can be ordered in three and single phase voltages. They are suitable for modulating and isolating duties in the actuation of knife gate valves, gate valves, penstocks, sluice gates, butterfly and ball valves.
  • OM actuators works well in all kinds of quarter-turn automation applications up to 4,500m.
  • The V range of actuator provides standard open/close and failsafe operations of quarter turn applications.
  • BA of bevel gearboxes provides solutions to applications requiring manual operation of up to 6,000Nm.
