Harold Jensen

Vice Chairman, International Committee for Non-Destructive Testing (ICNDT)
 
Harold’s career in NDT started in 1994 at Eskom as a graduate in training. During 2004 he moved to the African NDT Centre in Pretoria, where he was the NDT Training and General Industry Services Manager for three years. He joined Automated Electronic Solutions during 2008 as a co-member. Towards the end of 2008 he started his own company in NDT engineering.
 
 
His vision is to establish, maintain and continuously improve a unified NDT training, qualification and certification system based on:
  1. Basic qualifications and certifications
  2. Structured in-service mentoring and company authorisation
  3. End-user approval
  4. A continuous development programme for all South African and African NDT personnel

It is his belief that this will result in an effective and value-added service to engineering.
Harold is a member of the Southern African Institute of Welding (SAIW) -Group as Systems and Quality Manager and the Vice Chairman of the International Committee for Non-Destructive Testing (ICNDT) – Executive Council (ICEC).

Harold holds a B.Sc.Hons. Solid State Physics and NDT qualifications – Level 3.
